INTRODUTION


Full view of space. PAN RIGHT all the way.

NARRATOR

Far across the cosmos, the greatest adventure is about to begin…

Mushroom Prisonship comes into view flying at relative speed.

This is the Mushroom Prisonship.

CUT TO INT (Mushroom Prisonship): Main hallways Mushroom Droids do their thing.

Piloted by an elite team of Mushroom Droids with one purpose in mind…

CUT TO: Detainment block. A group of druids guard seven eggs in a containment unit.

…To guard their dangerous cargo.

CUT TO: Main Bridge. The Mushroom Droids are piloting the ship.

CAPTAIN DROID

Maintain course. Our objective is to orbit the outskirts of this galaxy for eternity. We must keep our cargo as out of reach as possible.

DROID1

At least until we can destroy it.

DROID2

Good luck in that department. Noone can smash those things.

Beeper goes off. Droid2 has been startled.

Huh? Captain Droid, sensors are picking up a freak meteor storm at 12 o’ clock high!

CAPTAIN DROID

WHAT?! On screen!

The main screen goes on and we see a swarm of meteors.

Any way we can get around it?

DROID2

Negative sir!

DROID3

The average diameter of ONE is about 100 kilometers sir.

CAPTAIN DROID

RED ALERT! ALL HANDS PREPARE FOR IMPACT!

CUT TO EXT: The meteor storm immediately starts ripping at the ship. A big one smashes the side.
CUT TO INT: Some Droids are blown out of a hole.
CUT TO: Hallway. It explodes and engulfs some more Droids.
CUT TO: Bridge.

DROID4

Decks 4 through 6 have been destroyed, and there is a breech on deck 3!

CAPTAIN DROID

(Under his breath) Crap… Contain the eggs and jettison them to the nearest star! If this ship is destroyed, those eggs must not be allowed to escape to any star systems!

CUT TO: Detainment block. Some druids are preparing to jettison the eggs.

DROID5

Target sighted. Preparing to jettison!

An explosion shatters the containment shell.

What the… Dang it!

CUT TO: Engineering. A Droid smashes his hand into the panel it explodes.

DROID

Nuts! Captain, the containment shell has been destroyed!

Engineering blows up.

AAAAAAAAAAH!

CUT TO: Bridge. At this point it is on fire.

DROID6

Engineering has been destroyed!

Panel blows up in his face.

DAAAAAAH!

DROID2

So has Droid6! Now what!

CAPTAIN DROID

Prepare for deactivation and hope that… the Mega Koopa Seven… is not… restored…

Bridge comes apart.

WHOOOOOOOOOA!

CUT TO EXT: Ship loses balance while blowing up at random places. The whole thing then explodes. Debris is all that is left. The seven eggs are seen floating in space. A wormhole opens up and swallows them. They fly through the wormhole and two veer off in different directions while the others keep going.

CUT TO EXT: Mushroom Space Station.
CUT TO INT: Mushroom Space Station Control.

COMMANDER

Dang it! There goes the Mushroom Prisonship!

LIEUTENANT

Oh man! Like I always say, never send a Droid to do a Mushroom’s job!

LIEUTENANT2 (girl)

Hey, they may be Droids, but they did their job like the rest of us. Besides, you could say that they sacrificed themselves in our stead!

LIEUTENANT

Maybe you’re right.

COMMANDER

Now the Mega Koopa Seven are free to do mischief if they are ever hatched. If they do, then Heaven help us all!

CUT TO INT: Cosmic Maltrons of Evil dimension. They are watching a pyramid monitor of the eggs.


MALTRONS

The fools! Did they actually think they could keep the magical eggs locked away forever? Now is the time! Huh? Look at that!

We see the five eggs spiral towards planet Earth, the Green Egg fly onto a planetoid, and the Red Egg head for Third Earth.

So! This is excellent! Exactly what we had planned! The five eggs have targeted Earth, the green egg is now located in the Mobian star system, and the red egg, the strongest of them all, is going toward Third Earth! We must tell King Bowser Koopa and Mummra the Ever-living about this! Yes! Yes! Then the Mega Koopa Seven will be free again! (Laugh evilly)


As they laugh the camera zooms out from the void and into space.


NARRATOR

What’s this? Mega Koopa Seven? King Bowser Koopa? Mummra? Magical eggs? Put these together and it spells trouble! There is only one team in the universe that can stop these Magical Mischief-Makers!


Mario flies up to the front.


MARIO

It’s me! Mario! Here we go!

Mario flies into the screen and the movie logo comes on. Start song “Shine on Now.”
